City of Frederick Residential Street Parking permits - 2026 edition

Here is the city's website for information on Residential (on-street) Parking Permits, and a copy of the 2026 permit renewal letter with essential details on what you'll need to prove residency to purchase a new City of Frederick on-street parking permit. The 2026 permits are available beginning December 16, 2025, and into 2026. The city's Parking FAQ page is here. Church Street Parking Garage replacement

The city is preparing to demolish the 50-year-old Church Street Parking Garage and build a slightly larger, modern, up-to-date parking garage on the same site. This process will take 12-18 months once demolition and construction begin. (Note: The survey link on the scanned original paper document was intended for the recipient of that notification and may not work for viewers of the document).

The Frederick County Fire Prevention Code and the State Fire Prevention Code (Fire Codes) prohibit using hibachi, gas-fired grills, charcoal grills, or similar devices on any balcony, under any overhanging portion of a building, or within 15 feet of any structure.
Structural Condition/Building Report

NEW: A structural engineer has reviewed and issued a report that has been posted for the current condition of the condo building. This document was to determine if any structural concerns need to be addressed as well as for the Fannie Mae requirement for structural certification.
This report can be found on the Forms & Documents page and is titled "Structural Condition Building Report" (dated Dec. 19, 2022).

Every year, in celebration of AAPI Heritage Month, the Asian American Center of Frederick (AACF) organizes “Asia on the Creek”, a free event, by partnering with the Downtown Frederick Partnership. This event promotes Asian heritage and culture by showcasing traditional art, dance, music, ethnic cuisine, and conversations about the Asian way of life.
